The fruit of the Gods.
The olive is an ancient and long-lived tree which originates from the Caucasian area. It arrived in Tuscany during the VII B.C., where it found the perfect climate and environment to grow.
Terra Antica draws both on the
ancient Tuscany olive farming tradition and innovative techniques to create an authentic product of excellent quality.
Terra Antica’s integrated olive production and sustainable farming practices ensure
minimal environmental impact.
Two hectares of our farming land (soon to become more) are dedicated to the cultivation of the native olive varieties -
Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino. In November, the best fruits are strictly hand-picked and timely sent to the oil mill to preserve their characteristics.
The olives are rigorously
cold-pressed to produce our exquisite extra-virgin olive oil, whose superior quality is measured against the organoleptic parameters set by the European Community. The olive oil is stored in dark glass bottles to ensure its optimum preservation.
Terra Antica produces over one thousand bottles of olive oil per year.
